    Examining the Well-being of Citizens’ Satisfaction: Comparing smart cities in Malaysia and China

    In the digital era, smart cities are a potential solution as cities get more crowded and complex. This study investigates and assesses whether citizens' well-being is promoted by developing a smart city, consistent with Sustainable Development Goals 3 and 11. Online questionnaires were distributed to 105 and 134 citizens residing in Malaysia and China's smart cities respectively. Data was analysed using a structural equation modelling technique (SEM). This research supports the theoretical underpinnings of how smart cities are considered to be developed and the importance of citizen satisfaction as a mediator when evaluating citizens' well-being.     Sustainability of Smart Cities in Malaysia and the Philippines using ESG Model

    Using the environmental, social and governance (ESG) model, this study examines the sustainability of local communities living in smart cities in Malaysia and the Philippines. Self-administered questionnaires were distributed to 400 respondents living in smart cities in Malaysia and the Philippines. PLS-SEM was used to analyse the data using the Singapore smart city initiatives framework. Findings show that local communities' awareness, perception and readiness to participate in the smart city initiatives impact smart city sustainability. In line with SDG 11, towards a more sustainable city, the study provides micro-level data to show the significance of local communities who are ultimately the end-users.     This study investigated the challenges of teaching in the digital environment and identified digital competency among lecturers in higher learning institutions in the digital era. The survey was carried out from April to September 2022 with 155 valid responses among 200 lecturers, 77.5% response rate from private and public higher learning institutions from Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines. PLS-SEM was used to analyse the survey results and hypothesis testing was conducted through bootstrapping. Among the seven hypotheses proposed, six were accepted and one was rejected, which was the development of digital learning resources towards competency teaching in the digital era.     Satisfactions of Customers by Using Online Food Application Services During Covid-19 Pandemic

    Food businesses benefit from an online food ordering and delivery framework. The purpose of this study is to identify the factors that influence overall consumer satisfaction with online food delivery providers. The demographic information of the respondents was discussed in this study. Furthermore, this study also revealed a significant difference between respondents' perceptions of e-services and the variables listed in the study's objectives. The researchers used a quantitative approach to identify the factors that influence consumers' overall satisfaction with online food delivery services. To collect information from the respondents, the researchers used a convenience and snowball sampling technique. Descriptive statistics were used to depict the respondent profile. The Mann-Whitney U and Wilcoxon tests were used to determine the difference in e-satisfaction between female and male respondents, while the Kruskal-Wallis test was used to determine the difference in e-satisfaction of respondents when grouped by age. The Spearman rho was used to see if there was a link between personal aspect, E-Service Quality, and Perceived Food Quality and e-satisfaction. The study found a significant relationship between personal aspect, E-Service Quality, and Perceived Food Quality and e-satisfaction. In terms of gender, most of the respondents are male, with 51.3%, and for the age of respondents, 29 to 40 years old. In terms of employment status, employed with a total of 162 and 61.60% has participated in the study. income salary, 50,000 and above are the highest, with a frequency of 64 and a percentage of 27.71%
